KEITH WAYMONT
Over 43 years’ experience within Law Enforcement, both as a Serving Officer (30 yrs), and as police staff.
Over 30 years’ experience in all areas of Automatic Number Plate Recognition, ranging from Operational Deployment, to Development, Management, Training (inc Systems, Best Practice, and Tradecraft), Procurement, Installation, Project Management and Support & Maintenance of all types of ANPR Technology at Force, Regional, National, and International level.
A member of the UK National ANPR Technical Advisory Group for 15 years, 6 years as a Subject Matter Expert member of the National ANPR Service Project User Group involved in the Development and Implementation of the UK National ANPR Service (NAS) across both Police and other UK Law Enforcement Agencies, and Home Office lead on a Discovery Programme for ANPR Analytics.
In the latter years of my police service, I was responsible for the Management and Development of Public Space Surveillance Camera (CCTV) Systems within the City of London, including the implementation of governance and audit processes to ensure compliance with the ever changing Legislative and Code of Practice requirements relating to the Development and Operational Deployment of Surveillance Camera Systems.
Having qualified in Prince2 Project Management at Practitioner level 20 years ago, I have project managed numerous major development and installation projects throughout that time.
